Direct hire screening process

Applied though a BoE direct hire situation.

They say there is an exam and an interview in the screening process. What does the exam portion usually entail? Just general grammatical questions? English vocabulary? Etc.

Im assuming it shouldn’t be too difficult, just weed out the horrendous? Just curious.

  1. It completely varies depending on the BOE. Some have an exam. Some have you write a small passage in Japanese to confirm your Japanese level. Others have nothing but an interview.

  3. How’s your Japanese? Just curious. Been thinking about doing the same in my area but my Japanese is still really weak.
