Just something i came across especially long term learners may find interesting, a largely meta video essay and introspection from a youtuber going through their own experiences of learning and expectations for the future having met their own goals.
Seemed to initially use duolingo before switching to the core 2k/6k and then sentence mining to a total of 20,000 of his own anki cards from native material. Surprisingly he avoided output, especially speaking until relatively recently, seems to have improved rather fast in that he was also able to [make a video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHjXe3aC2mc) playing kanji go and speaking in JP so it didn’t seem to hurt too much.
