Finally feel like I have something good to contribute here! Celebratory lunch after a 5 hour exam yesterday.

This is at Yume Sushi in Arlington, Virginia. IMO the best sushi experience in the DMV area.

First pic is, left to right, fatty tuna & caviar, tuna, salmon belly, yellowtail, scallop

Second pic is, left – roll with spicy tuna, asparagus, cooked scallop, “creamy jalapeño” sauce, Japanese chili, wrapped in soy paper. Right – seared scallop with truffle oil, foie gras, balsamic pearls, and gold leaf.

Final pic – to fill me up 😅 – miso soup and a spicy tuna hand roll.
