1. Wow, I wish I was there.

2. I saw it last June. It’s extremely beautiful, but a fair bit smaller than you’d expect from the Emperor’s garden. The Shogun’s private garden in Tokyo is a park unto itself. I guess it demonstrates the power disparity between the two.
