In the USA, I used apps like friends mode on Bumble or just attending random meetups, I was wondering if there were any well known apps I could use to make friends before I get there?
Ideally, I have some niche interest around books, philosophy, mindfulness, so idk if dating apps are a good idea + I just wanna make friends
(btw I was gonna stay in hostels for over a month to meet people as I travel around cities but I was carrying a lot of expensive gear so would it be safe to do so? The hostels had a 4.0 rating)
