WHV Application – Told that because I took a 6 week trip to Japan recently that my application has a ‘high risk’ of rejection.

I went for a 6 week trip to Tokyo and Osaka this year October – November, made my application at the embassy yesterday (to travel January 2024). However, the clerk at the embassy told me that I have a high chance of being rejected because of this trip.

To clarify, this is NOT mentioned on their [visa applicant requirements](https://www.uk.emb-japan.go.jp/itpr_en/index_000072.html) and has completely blindsided me as I have already quit my job in preparation for this. She claimed that this was due to how the Japanese government define residency.

Could someone clarify whether this clerk was correct or mistaken?
