So I know you have to register your address on your residence card in 14 days. My only question is how long it takes and if they keep your residence card while this is happening. I’m arriving in Tokyo on the 8th at 10 pm and wanted to go by the office later in the day to take care of it. Will it be taken care of right away or will they need to keep my residence card for a couple of days? Because I’d need it to re enter japan. I hope I’m making sense….
