I can absolutely understand the stresses and difficulties of living in Japan as a foreigner, it is not always easy. But there are many people on this sub who seem to be chronically discontent with living in Japan, but still do not leave. I have been wondering why. Expats are often highly qualified and have wiggle room when choosing where to live in the world, especially if they are in Western countries.
So I would like to get some perspective and insight by people who have massive complaints about Japan, yet choose to stay here.
