Hi all. I am currently planning out a 90 day itinerary and would love some advice. I am mapping out where I would like to go over my trip, and I’ve come to a cross roads (literally)
I need to get from Kobe to Matsuyama and I have two paths I could pick from. Each path is possible within my budget/time allowance, I think this is more about choosing what would be the most fun or worth while.
Option 1:
Taking the bus through Awaji. This way would be harder to navigate, but I would be able to get off the bus and see Awaji at my own pace. I have heard mixed reviews on the bus system in Awaji, so I am a bit hesitant, but it does seem like a fun island to visit.
I would then continue on to Marugame for the night before continuing on to Matsuyama the next day.
Option 2:
Instead of going south, I could travel from Kobe to Himeji for a day trip. After this, I could either spend another day trip in Okayama, or just continue on to Matsuyama using a JR line.
Out of those two options, what would you choose? Which sounds more interesting?
