What are some good reasons for Japanese university students to learn English?
I think many students don’t know why the heck they’re studying this foreign language…they’re never going abroad…movies, books, websites, youtubes are all dubbed or instantaneously translatable…why learn this foreign language…it’s useless (or so they think)
I’m asking because I want to give them some answers, motivate them, and show them a new perspective on this persistent question.
