Hikari – Docomo or Softbank? Choice of home internet

Initially I wanted to sign up to Softbank’s Hikari for 4100, but the issue is my apartment is not supporting NTT’s Flets, so there is no cheap option. So next I tried to switch to Softbank Air, but now I see it’s just a bullshit for upload rates and latency is just like I’m living on the Moon. Oh God, I should’ve read comments about it here before.

So now I’m thinking to go to the most expensive option and sign up to Family type’s Hikari for 6000 (for comparison, Air cost 5400). It’s option for private houses, so there would be additional construction works, so I’d need to adjust it with my landlord. Still, I see NTT’s hikari outlet in my apartment, so I believe it should be okay.

So my question is, who should I sign up to? Is there are any disadvantages or hidden rules on Docomo/Softbank side? Would be perfect if you’re using family type connection as well. Still would appreciate your feedback for “Mansion type” as well. Speed, latency, connection stability etc.
