I know people say it doesn’t taste good, but I want to try it. If it’s safe to eat, and I don’t mind the taste, and it’s easy to catch I’ll fill up my freezer with it 🫡.
There are Japanese people on YouTube catching and eating 「下水鯉」。 That sounds awful, but I really have no idea how clean those little streams in cities actually are.
How would I know what rivers around me are clean enough to eat fish from? And how would I know what the safe amount to eat is before I get mercury/arsenic/etc effects?
