Working at a Japanese company vs. overseas company in regards to pension, NHI, taxes, how much is OK

Somewhat of a /r/titlegore but bear with me please.

Say I’m making 5m yen/year in gross salary at a Japanese company. My net is probably round 3.5m or so after pension, health insurance, and taxes.

However my employer *also* pays for a part of my pension, NHI (and other taxes?).

If I was employed as a contractor overseas (say, America or Europe), I would have to pay everything myself. So how much would I have to earn gross so my net would still be around 3.5m yen (ignoring currency exchange fluctuations)? I’m not a US citizen if that’s relevant.

Edit: Japanese numbering system strikes again. Not 500m but 5m lmao.
