Following overnight series had been announced for New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day in Kanto area:
* JR Yamanote line – every 15 minutes both clockwise and counter-clockwise
* JR Keihin-Tohoku + JR Negishi line – Omiya to Sakuragicho (until 4am), every 20-50 minutes
* JR Chuo-Sobu line – Mitaka – Chiba, every 10-80 minutes
* JR Chuo line rapid – Mitaka – Takao (until 4am), every 30-60 minutes
* JR Yokosuka line – Yokohama – Zushi, every 80 minutes
* JR Ome line – Takichawa – Mitake, dep. Takichawa at 2:00, 3:20, dep. Mitake at 3:00, 4:38 (trains do not stop at Miyanohira, Hinatawada, Ishigamimae, Futamatao, Ikusabata and Sawai)
* JR Sobu/Narita line – Chiba – Narita, dep. Chiba at 1:20, 3:15, dep. Narita at 2:10, 3:55 (trains do not stop at Higashi-Chiba station)
* Keisei Main Line – Ueno – Narita – every 20-50 minutes
* Keisei Oshiage/Kanamachi lines – Oshiage – Kanamachi – every 20-40 minutes
* Keio New Line / Takao line – Shinjuku – Takaosanguchi – every 60 minutes (trains do not stop on New Line before reaching Sasazuka station)
* Keio Liner Gashuin (reserved seats only) from Shinjuku to Takaosanguchi will run at 1:00 and 2:50
* Tokyu Toyoko line – Shibuya – Yokohama, additional train departing Shibuya at 1:25
* Tokyu Den-en-Toshi line – Shibuya – Chuo-Rinkan, additional train departing Shibuya at 1:25
* Tokyo Monorail – 2 additional round trips – dep. Hamamatsucho at 3:45 and 4:25, dep. Haneda Airport Terminal 2 at 4:03 and 4:43
Tokyo Metro, TOEI, Odakyu, Keikyu, Seibu, Sotetsu, Tobu, Yokohama subway will not run any additional services.
