Hello everyone! I am making a short trip to Tokyo on the back end of an international work trip next month. My hotel is in Asakusa, close to the train station. Any advice or recommendations on the below itinerary would be greatly appreciated!
January 20 – Day 1 (Narita, Asakusa)
* Flight arrives at 1:45 PM at Narita Airport
* Take train to hotel and check in
* Walk to Kaminarimon Gate and explore Nakamise Shopping Street (can be before or after dinner depending on how long it takes to get to hotel)
* Dinner nearby (recommendations welcome)
January 21 – Day 2 (Tsukiji, Ueno, Akihabara)
* Check out Tsukiji Outer Market
* Teamlab planets
* Take the train to Ueno station and go to Tokyo National Museum
* Walk around Ueno Park
* Train to Akihabara for dinner and exploring
January 22 – Day 3 (Asakusa, Chiyoda City)
* Walk to Senso-ji Temple
* Return to hotel and check out
* Find a place to store baggage (recommendations welcome)
* Do you recommend the Imperial Palace or Meiji Shrine? I imagine I won’t have time for both
* Train to Haneda airport, flight departs at 7:20 PM, will plan to arrive at airport at 4:20 PM
