Let’s say, If I have a specific brand name that I made up e.g. “donkey beanies”. And running a popular website of it and suddenly somewhere in Japan someone decides to create a store with the exact same name, how does that work with copyright? I have no beef with them but lets say they find my website and want to file a copyright complaint to me, would that be possible?
At the moment my website makes no money but im planning to next year. Is it recommended i already register the brand as a company even though there is no income yet? But also for the copyright issue?
