  1. What’s with the water bottles outside some people’s houses/apartments? Sometimes it’s just a few 2 liter bottles and sometimes it’s a ton of standard ones.

  2. I’m looking for a sunscreen (and a moisturizer) for my husband (40+), but he absolutely hates any sticky/oily feeling on his skin. Even the sunscreens I personally think feel like nothing on my skin, he claims are “sticky”…! Any recommendations?
I know I could go to the store and try each of them but honestly there aren’t too many options in any given shop now.

  3. Anybody has a recommendation for last minute travel insurances? would be flying next week. Thanks!

  4. It’s not exactly a Japan specific question, but I live in a cold house — it went as low as -10° *inside* the house this year.

My TV screen gets “dark” when it’s cold, it’s still useable but the backlighting doesn’t work correctly until it warms up after a long while, and I never seemed to have this issue with my computer monitors (located in the same cold house).

I’m in the market to buy a new computer monitor but I’m very afraid of buying a higher range monitor and have it damaged by the cold over night.

Are my concerns stupid? Is it actually safe for monitors to be in cold temperature and my TV (it’s a third-hand TV) is the weird one out?

    Thanks!

  5. Hello how do i buy line mo internet package? (So i already buy the sims 2 month later a letter from line mo came up i tought the payment using my credit card daily after i pay linemo i can’t continue to use line no internet how do i continue the contract?)

  6. Any foreigners at super Japanese companies that leave on time every day?

I have 20 hours of minashi zangyo in my contract. I usually do about 20~30 minutes of overtime per day but am always the first to leave and I feel like my coworkers are lowkey judging me for it. I’ve seen people here say to just leave if you’ve finished your work for the day but at my company everyone pulls tasks from the same pool of work and so I feel like it seems like I am leaving the others to take on more of the load…
