I have two middle names in my full name and that is causing me lots of issues in Japan

Hi japanlife,

I am a foreigner with 2 middle names.
My fullname as written on my zairyu card is: LAST FIRST MIDDLE1 MIDDLE2

This has been causing me a lot of issues with banking/phone provider.
It seems quite a few system cannot handle this many spaces in names.

As a result, I got rejected when applying for MNP (keep my phone number) and also for registering credit card for banking.

I am thinking I must not be the first foreigner with these issues.
Any tips/life hacks please?

I never provide my full name when I don’t need to but for banking they check against my zairyuu card.

Any stories/help/advice would help thanks.
