Long story short, my the real estate agents at my old apartment were trying to get us to pay a ridiculous moving out bill that was clearly marked up for their own profit. Even the apartment owner himself agreed its too high.
Now after discussing with the aide of lawyer council, we have agreed to meet at the old apartment again for a reassessment and a second estimation. It has also been agreed that a neutral 3rd party can be there to give the estimation.
My problem is finding a 3rd party that is truly neutral. The law offices tell us we need to find them on our own. There are some on Google, but I don’t know them from Adam and can only assume that as a company they would only do it if there was some way to make their own profit.
I don’t mind to pay for someone to come to do the estimation itself, more than anything I want to find a person or company I know I can trust to be truly neutral and base their estimation on the contract and Tokyo Guidelines, and nothing else.
