Hello, I’m looking to attend a Japanese Language school from April next year. The schools I like the idea of are Kofu Unitas and Yokohama Design College, although YDC is full for the 2023 April intake so it is a no go.
Does anyone have any experience with affordable language schools in Japan, specifically schools that people with no native kanji background can still thrive in. I wish to be able to make friends at said school and I’m afraid of the native language barrier, which is why I haven’t signed up for Kofu Unitas already as most students there are Vietnamese and Chinese and I’m worried about the native language barrier and the difference in learning speed.
The reason I like YDC is they teach students with Kanji background and without in different classes until the later levels, are there other schools like that in Japan or is it not that big of a deal.
I’d also like to go to a place to providers school accommodation for around 50,000yen a month max.
Am I being too unrealistic or are there good schools out there meeting my requirements?
