Are there any good websites or something to commission amateur/hobbyist artists to make physical art?
I’ve lived here for over a year and have been enjoying getting cheap geek stuff on mercari, but just realized I want some things that don’t exist yet (but should).
For example, I really want a cute snowboarding pikachu figure in ceramic or vinyl (or something) for under 10000円.
I haven’t tried to get an art commission from a stranger since the days of deviantart being popular.
Hashtag searching on Instagram and cold asking artists looks promising, but very tedious and I don’t think there’s a way to narrow it down to just this country.
