Stayed in a hotel in Tokyo for the last 3 nights. Yesterday, I woke up with itchy bites all over my legs and none on the upper body. It was impossible to be bitten outside because I have been wearing 3 layers of pants (to counter the cold) all throughout this holiday.
Hotel staff was rather dismissive (despite being a four-star!) and chalked them up to flea or mite bites, since there had not been any cases of bedbugs reported previously. The only compensation I received was a meal coupon.
Anyone else had a similar experience with this kind of bites before?
