i hope he drops the belt to ace next year so he could afford to lose a few times during the g1
I gotta be honest. To me he is a solid wrestler, but I haven’t seen him do anything special. Maybe he is holding back? I dunno.
Yeah I was hoping Josh would end up there full time or AEW when he had the falling out with Impact. Would love to see this guy on a bigger stage.
I had heard about him but never actually seen him wrestle until he came to NEW in Vancouver. Got to see him live and he made a fan out of me in what turned out to be a really great match that was given a good amount of time. I’d love to see him on a bigger stage.
The only thing I knew about him was that the 12 people who still watch Impact raved about him.
I was astonished to see him on Strong and see he was actually really good. Great technician (we need more of them in the industry), and good size & intensity to stand out with that.
I generally have zero interest in outside guys, but I wouldn’t complain about Alexander doing more in NJPW. He deserves more than where he is now.
Hell. Yes.
I saw Josh Alexander live a few months back, and he wrestles like an absolute star. He’s someone I definitely hope to see in NJPW more.
Josh Alexander is very, very good at pro wrestling (to say the least) and I’d love to see him in pretty much any capacity in NJPW.
He’s like a young version of Kurt angle
He might be the guy to replace Danielson against ZSJ, though it might be a long shot given he’s Impact world champion – but still, Kazarian still showed up for Slammiversary, so there might still be some collaboration agreement in place.
I’m surprised I thought he would be in the G1 but I guess as Impact world champion, they could not afford to let him be away.
I would have loved to see him in the G1. This year, the field in the G1 is 28, which is the biggest one they’ve ever had, but even then there were guys I was expecting to be chosen that weren’t.
It’s broken down into four blocks of seven. I don’t know why they decided to do it this way b/c in tournaments like this, an odd number makes things really awkward. 32 would make it 4 blocks of 8–much better.
