Help: Searching for Internship in Mechatronics/Robotics

Hello everyone, I’m a Serbian student currently studying in Slovenia. With a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering under my belt, I’m now pursuing my master’s in Mechatronics and Laser Technology.(1st year master’s student)

My passion lies in robotics and mechatronics, and for a long time, I’ve dreamed of moving to Japan to advance my career in this field. Despite some discouragement from others, I’ve decided to explore the possibility firsthand by aiming for an internship in Japan. I believe this will give me valuable insight into whether this path is truly right for me. However, I’m at a bit of a loss about how to begin this journey. I’m reaching out to this community for any advice, resources, or personal experiences that could guide me.

Here’s a bit about my situation:

I have a foundational understanding of Japanese, around the N4-N3 level, and am committed to improving it. I aim to have the N2 diploma by the end of my masters.

I’m keen on finding opportunities specifically in robotics or mechatronics.

If you have advice on where to look for internships, how to apply, or who to contact, I’d greatly appreciate it. Additionally, if anyone has been in a similar situation and can offer insights or share their journey, I’d love to hear about it.

Thank you in advance for your help! <33

  2. Mitsubishi Fuso / Pabco always hires an army of interns.

For internships you could also check out the page Kopra.org. The page is not maintained well, but I think there are still new/continuous offers on there.
