I will be picking up food that we pre-ordered for Christmas(Lasagna, Roast Chicken and Tiramisu to be exact). To save me the trouble of having to walk and carry everything, I was thinking of grabbing a cab. But I’m concerned that the the food will stink the cab. In my country this is a non-issue but I’m not sure here in Tokyo if this is generally considered uncourteous or not.
For more context, its a 15 min cab ride.

Thanks everyone for the replies. The shop wrapped the food well so there was very minimal odor and the taxi driver was very kind and accommodating when I mentioned that I was carrying food.
