My mom recently recommended me to teach a Japanese kid (16-17) and I don’t know where to begin on creating lessons and activities for us to do.
We’ll meet up once a week and I plan for that to be a mostly English speaking session so he can learn real life scenarios on what he should say in response to other people. I’m a native speaker but my writing is absolute trash so I am going to really hammer home him learning romaji with worksheets. Like the ones where you write the letter over and over with him doing something related to that letter (I haven’t figured out what). I literally can’t think of ways to help him without writing things down or typing it out.
Any advice?

Haha, you need lessons so you can teach lessons.
