Probably just around 1-2万円 equivalent as a Christmas gift.
They want to send moneygram, but I would have no idea how to cash it here in Iwate (my bank doesn’t have English support either and my Japanese is still baby level).
I heard Wise is a good option normally, but I don’t want to ask this person to try to make an account and do all that (I haven’t even made one for myself yet).
I still have my US bank account (online bank/no physical location), and I’m thinking there must be an easy way just to do something with that.
