So I applied for PR nearly 4 months ago, and got a letter requesting a couple of extra papers (my employer’s record did not suffice). For nenkin, I realize that you only need to prove payments from 2 years ago till now. However, the nenkin office will only provide my full record, and shows that I didn’t pay nenkin while living in Nagano for over 2 years (I think I mistakenly thought my employer was deducting it from my salary).
For my several years in Kansai, all of my nenkin has been paid on time. However, even though I’ve easily paid the required two years, I’m a bit worried that the previous missed payments could play a factor with my application.
Is there any reason to be concerned? I tried two different nenkin offices, and both of them can only provide the full record.
