Permanent Residency on Fuyou

Hi, I’ve been married to my (Japanese) husband for 4 years now and thinking about permanent residency.

Thing is, he is the ‘financial’ breadwinner and I haven’t worked much/if at all and am currently on his fuyou koujo 扶養控除申告書. I am enrolled on national health insurance and pension through this too. I think through his company?

Can I still apply if we have proof he can support me, or will I need my own number of years of tax returns proving tax payments and so on?

Please no judging. It’s just the way it worked out for both of us and how he preferred it, but now I’m worried it may have been a mistake for PR reasons. We do not have children yet.
