Hi everyone,
In 2 months from now I’ll finish my cybersecurity education, and because I’m not really too enthousiastic about my future in my home country (Netherlands), I’d quite like to move abroad to work in Japan.
I’ll have several certificates and knowledge about quite a few cyber related things, such as pentesting, (web)hacking, forensics, working as a SOC analyst, and DevSecOps. Languages and distros such as Python, CSS, Kali and Ubuntu also fall under my knowledge.
The only thing I do not have yet is experience. I’m more than willing to take a job that’s “below” my level to get a foothold in the Japanese working environment, or even to take a more generic tech job.
I’m fluent in Dutch and English, and proficient in German. I’m still studying Japanese, and I don’t think I’ll be able to have full business conversations yet, so that’s my only concern regarding language.
If anyone has some useful information or tips, I’ll gladly listen!
