Hi JapanTravel!
This sub has given me a lot of great info and inspiration over the past year while I’ve been planning my Japan trip. I’m finally going in just under two months and I’m now reconsidering my entire Tokyo itinerary.
Wednesday – Landing in NRT at 4:30pm – our plan is just to get a nice dinner and check out a couple cocktail bars near our hotel in Ginza
Thursday – Hanegi Park for the plum blossom festival, Gotokuji Temple, then over to Akihabara for some arcades
Friday – Tsukiji Outer Market, walk through Ginza and Yurakucho for some shopping, then over to Shinjuku for an izakaya/bar-hop tour (starts at 7:00pm)
Saturday – Ghibli museum, shop/explore Harajuku down to Shibuya 109, drop stuff off at our hotel, then back to Shibuya for conveyor belt sushi, Shibuya Sky, and a couple of cocktail bars
Sunday – Off to Nozawaonsen!
My concern mostly lies on the Saturday itinerary – I’m looking to do some pretty popular activities on possibly the busiest day I’ll be there. I’m worried that it’s too much, but I also wonder if there’s a better way to organize things so that I can still do/see everything I want without it being, frankly, a disaster.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions! Thank you!!
