7 day itinerary check for Tokyo – early March

hello! we will be traveling to tokyo this coming March 2024. It is my 2nd time in the city and 1st time for the others. most of them are millennials and i’m the only young, hence i am in charge of planning our itinerary.

seeking for your suggestions in my initial plan (including where to eat, shop, etc.). also planning to remove some museums and other attractions that needs payment.

PS: we will be staying near Tokyo Station, so suggestions are open!

Day 1 (Half Day): Exploring Shibuya and Harajuku
* Afternoon: Start your trip in Shibuya, visit the iconic Shibuya Crossing, explore Center Street, and shop in Shibuya 109.
* Evening: Head to Harajuku for Takeshita Street, known for its vibrant street fashion and quirky shops.

Day 2: Tokyo Disneyland
* Spend the entire day at Tokyo Disneyland, experiencing the magical world of Disney attractions and entertainment.

Day 3: Cultural Day in Asakusa and exploring Ginza
* Morning: Visit Senso-ji Temple and explore Nakamise Shopping Street.
* Afternoon: Take a cruise on the Sumida River and visit the Tokyo Skytree for panoramic views.
* Evening: Explore the shopping district of Ginza

Day 4: Day Trip to Mount Fuji
* Join a day tour to Mount Fuji, visit the fifth station, take a boat cruise on Lake Ashi, and ride the Hakone Ropeway for stunning views.

Day 5: Modern Tokyo – Roppongi and Odaiba
* Morning: Explore the Mori Art Museum in Roppongi Hills.
* Afternoon: Head to Odaiba for shopping and entertainment, visit TeamLAB. Palette Town, and enjoy the Odaiba Seaside Park.

Day 6: Ueno Park and Akihabara
* Morning: Explore Ueno Park, including the Tokyo National Museum and Ueno Zoo.
* Afternoon: Immerse yourself in Akihabara’s electronics shops and anime culture.
* Evening: Experience the vibrant nightlife in Akihabara.

Day 7: Departure Day
* Early morning: Head straight to the airport for your departure.
