W3stg@te Study Abroad Prep + TOEIC Course Experience? Short-term Housing?

I’ve worked with W3stg@te (my meager attempts to prevent them from finding this post via search) in the past and enjoyed it for what it was – 3 months to be able to live in Japan. I genuinely enjoyed the classroom and students. Easiest teaching job I’ve had.

I got offered a position to teach the study abroad prep + TOEIC course which is different from the extracurricular course. I was wondering if anyone here had experience with that course and what they thought of it.

I’m disappointed with the new housing arrangement, though. 81,000 for a shared space and 98,000 for a studio (probably Leopalace). They don’t like it when we try to find our own housing, but I would like to see what options there are. How difficult is it to find short-term housing in the Kanto region? Absolutely no way I am paying 81,000 to share a bathroom.
