Is Todai really better than Waseda or Keio for exchange?

I’m hesitating between **Todai, Waseda and Keio**. I’ve seen a few posts discussing these universities, but they’re very dated and a lot of info is no longer accurate, which is why I’m making a new post.
I’ll be in Tokyo for 1 year, and I’m hoping to improve my Japanese, hopefully making friends with some locals rather than being stuck in an international bubble.

**Keio** seems great in terms of course selection, but the biggest setbacks I see so far:
\- not very well located (not great for hanging out between classes, etc.)
\- doesn’t seem like a popular school for exchanges, which makes me worry it won’t cater well to students from abroad
**Waseda** is well located but there isn’t a great selection in the SILS course catalogue… However, so many students have gone there on exchange and recommend it, which makes me wonder if I’m misssing something
**Todai**’s course selection is fine, and it’s a presigious university. Does anyone recommend it for exchange if I don’t plan on working in Japan in the future?
I’d love to hear about your experiences, opinions!!
