16 day Japan Trip Itinerary check- any tips much appreciated.

I will be Traveling to Japan in March-April with my mid 60s parent, and am trying to see as much as we can while taking in to account the walking and limitations. We will take trains, busses and taxis whenever possible and I will try to reserve big activities and travel in advance.

This is all in order, if you think days should be switched around let me know.

**Day 0- Tokyo**

Arrive at Narita Airport 3:30PM, train to stay in Shibuya, drop off luggage, see scramble crossing, eat and crash.

**Day 1- Tokyo**

Explore Shibuya Crossing, get breakfast, see Hachiko.

Mega Don Quijote

Nintendo Tokyo

train to Harajuku, see Meiji Shrine entrance

explore Takeshita street foods and shops

To Shibuya Sky for Sunset/nighttime view of Tokyo

**Day 2- Tokyo**

Tsukiji Fish Market early morning

Train to Akihabara, on the way stop to try Kikanbo spicy ramen

Explore Akihabara, then to Ameyoko Shopping district

Train to Asakusa, see Nakamise street, stay till night to see Sensoji Temple lit up

**Day 3- Tokyo**

**Day 4- Tokyo**

**Day 5- Mt.Fuji**

Shinjuku Expressway Bus to Mount Fuji

See Arakurayama Sengen Park

Get lunch, Explore Lake Kawaguchi

To Oshino Hakkai for the night

**Question-can we stop on the way to Kawaguchiko Station to see the Sengen Park or do we have to go to the Station first and then back?**

**Day 6- oshino hakkai**

Breakfast at Ryokan

Say goodbye to Oshino

Kawaguchiko Station Bus -> Mishima Station -> Shijo Station Kyoto

Check in to Hotel

See Gion if not too tired

**Day 7-Kyoto**
