I’m currently living in Japan and going to language school but as I graduate in March I would like to travel the whole country on an e-bike, visiting, doing photography and have started to search online but am very confused about the offerings and laws.
The main issue at hand is I am still obese (around 130kg) and most models I can find which are 100% legal have a max load way way below that and considering I’d have som luggage on the rack it seems like a dangerous option both for me and the wear and tear of the bike. I’ve also seen a few offerings from those chinese brands like shengmilo and philodo on amazon and rakuten but while they do offer to exclude the throttle it is still very vague to me if it would be legal or not to ride.
Considering the long trip I’m looking into something that would have a decent rage, support my weight and my budget is 250k max.
