Best way to teach part-time at a University?

I’m a full-time engineer in Tokyo, but for personal satisfaction, I’ve been wanting to teach part-time in a university in or around Tokyo. Work is lax and remote enough where I can take on some teaching duties. As for credentials, I have a bachelors/masters in STEM from todai and have >15 (mostly middle author) publications.

I would ideally want to teach within my subfields (CS or environment/sustainability), but I’d take what I can get at this point (have failed many a final round for part-time lecturer jobs). I continue to look on jrecin for jobs but haven’t had much success. What would be the best, actionable things I can do to break into uni teaching?
