My fiancee and I (both foreigners) got a new donabe and followed the instructions [on this site](https://www.justonecookbook.com/how-to-season-your-donabe/) to season it, using the corn starch method because we had a bunch of it leftover. Pretty sure we followed the instructions to the letter, but after cooking our first meal in it (slowly, on medium-low heat) the inside is absolutely covered in cracks. The instructions I linked to above did say it’s normal for these pots to crack, but should it look like a spiderweb after one use? Should we season it a second time before we use it again? I can post a photo if that’ll help.
Thanks for any advice!
