I’m planning to build a new house in or around the Tokyo area, and I’ve searched online and here on Reddit (including the wikis) for resources to help with building a house (choosing a builder, people’s building experiences, etc.), but am struggling to find resources for finding and purchasing land. My understanding is that I need to find and purchase the land first before moving forward with the building process, but a lot of these wikis and blogs either gloss over or completely skip this step in their explanations. I’ve found a couple websites with land for sale, but I wanted to ask here to see if people have any recommended sites or services they used or can suggest for finding land to build a new house on.
