Designated Visa Renewal

Hi, when i applied for the designated visa a couple months ago after graduating from my school, i was required to submit a recommendation letter from the school as part of the process. Since my 6 month visa is coming towards an end, i will apply for an extension. Do I need to ask my school for another recommendation letter for the extension? Would be great to hear any recommendations or advice regarding this. Thank you!
