In order to improve my reading skills while also having some fun, I decided to get into visual novels, specially because I bought a Rog Ally and it works beautifully for playing those games on the go and at home, since it runs windows, it has a touch screen for easy lookups with the right plugins, and you get pretty good battery life (5+ hours on silent mode so far)
Currently there’s a number of visual novels on sale on steam and other launchers, so I was wondering if you guys have played some of them, and if they’re worth buying. I’m ok with almost anything plot wise, as long as the vocabulary isn’t particularly obscure to not be worth memorizing it.
So far I’ve bought Steins Gate and Senren Banka, both seem to be rated very highly, any others worth checking out? The only obvious requirement is that the game needs to be completely in Japanese, no point in downloading a game that’s been translated to English 😅
