I was playing with the kanji tutor on my iPad and failing at this 臓 which is in words like 内臓 (internal organ), 心臓 (heart).
Just to see how it’s done, I hand the iPad to my wife and ask her to write it.
She then proceeded to fail 3 times and finally made a messy 臓 on the forth try. 🙂

Wife is a Japanese doctor and she commented that she uses this kanji every day. Her excuse is that she mostly only types and never writes by hand anymore. She did achieve some level in 書道 many years ago and she has the whole setup for writing your kanji of the year on January 2nd which is why we’re thinking about Kanji today.
