Horrible disaster, tragic photos. Lucky that it was New Year and most people were at home, not out at work on on the streets.
Surprised (well, maybe not) and saddened to see that the sexy yoga scandal cabinet minister with a family history of POW slave labor is still bouncing around in high level positions. Japan govt is just disgusting in its level of corruption and disdain for the citizens. LDP is truly the inheritors of prewar nobility. Gross. Japan needs a social revolution to purge these fossils, preferably with a guillotine.
