So basically there’s a couple of things I’ve had to complain about in my share house recently (people leaving poop on the toilet seat, refrigerator not working properly).
But my landlord is just ignoring me and I want to leave but also ignoring that message.
Basically I’m confused as to what I should do just wondering if there’s any help for dealing with landlords like this.

Did you contact the landlord after the start of Obon?
Perhaps you could contact the agent through which you found the property? They might be able to help.
Sounds like you chose to live in a zoo and expected the landlord to get rid of the monkeys. Best case scenario they replace them with another monkey. You really need to move.
Stop paying rent, that will get their attention.

Send registered mail; As soon as the letter was accepted by the recipient, ths clock starts ticking.
If s/he won’t talk to you, don’t pay the rent. It’d take them six months to evict you, so you’ll get their attention in the meantime.
