I took a trip back to the states and saw Poor Things there and noticed it’s being released at the end of January here in Japan. There was a decent amount of full frontal nudity in it (male and female) and I was curious how do they go about releasing movies like that here? Do they mosaic censor those parts, completely remove them, or just leave them as is? I was considering going to see it again when it comes out here but didn’t want to waste the money if whole scenes were going to be cut out. I know video game censorship is rough here but I’ve never really seen a movie in theaters here that entered that territory before.
