I recently secured an offer of a three-month intern, but it kinda terrified me that their work hours are from 10am to 11pm, and six days per week. I’m holding student visa therefore I’m only allowed to work 28 hrs during academic terms, and 40 hrs during academic breaks. I’ve informed my supervisor the above restrictions of my visa and he seems like ok with it. I haven’t started the intern yet, but I’m concerned whether I should work with everyone else (since the intern is unpaid), or strictly follow the legal restrictions…would it cause any trouble for my visa status?
