International doctor with a Japanese citizenship

Hi I’m a newly-licensed doctor in the Philippines. I’m planning to pursue anesthesiology as my specialty so I plan on taking up residency in the Philippines and then take my fellowship in Japan. Another option is to take both residency and fellowship in Japan. Problem is, my Japanese father just passed away recently so I have no one else to ask around. I’m a Japanese citizen but I grew up and studied medicine proper in the Philippines nor can I speak Japanese though I can study Nihongo first while I’m here in the Philippines for the proficiency exam. Are there any opportunities for people like me in Japan? Just wanted to make the most of my citizenship so I could migrate and establish myself there. Any inputs would be appreciated!! 🙂
