Is the offer good enough

Hi! Just wanted to hear some perspective here. I’ve been applying to different preschools in Tokyo and Nagoya. Note that I’m outside Japan and trying to get a work visa sponsor. There’s this one school that has been in constant communication with me and even offered me a contract. The work schedule, benefits, remuneration, etc are pretty clear to me. It’s the standard work schedule that I’ve been doing here in my country as a preschool teacher, so no news to me. The contract’s just for a year and I can have it renewed too.

Although, she says that she can’t promise bonuses nor increases as the pandemic badly hit the their school as they’re trying to regain students. I would be the only full-time employee that will be hired, besides the owners. The other teachers are just part-time teachers.

I’m just weighing if the pros n cons are enough for me to move the country. They offered me 250k yen, half of med insurance and pension will be shouldered by the school, transportation allowance, sponsored work visa, and they respond pretty fast!!! LOL I mean I could wait for some schools to respond….

Any input is greatly appreciated!!

UPDATE: i didnt take the job!!!!!!!!
