Resume/jobs in Japan

Info: Living in US, work in fashion design field.

I have been in contact with a company in Japan and they said they are open to hiring me I just need to provide my resume and a photo. From there we would proceed with the Visa and all that.

I am aware of the traditional Japanese resume and photo shot but I do have some questions.

Should I still be submitting a Japanese style resume? And should the photo still be similar to the white shirt/black blazer attire? I’m not sure if every single job industry prefers this. And it is a fashion design/sewing job for a streetwear company so I thought maybe these types of jobs aren’t so traditional when it comes to the photo?

Any help is appreciated thank you. 🙏🏽
