Life as an engineer in Japan

Hi, i am currently in my last year of a mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree. I am currently doing a semester of student exchange here in Sendai and so far I have been really enjoying my time here. Since I am about to graduate in September this year, I want to work in Japan as the pay and quality of life is better here than in my home country. My question is, how is life as a mechanical engineer/similar field of work? The quality of life, work life balance, and the work environment etc. I am really considering moving here in the future as I have fallen in love with the country. For background, I have been studying Japanese for the past 2 years and I have passed the N3 back in 2022 but I’ve failed the N2 last year with a 70 score and i plan to really study to pass the upcoming JLPT N2. Is there anything I should be considering or making plans for to work in Japan as an engineer? Looking forward to hearing opinions from people who have built an engineering career here in Japan, Thank you
